This cilantro avocado and lime crema is a must whenever you want a tangy, spicy, and smooth dipping sauce in your meal. It goes great with chips, patacones, arepas, potatoes, roasted vegetables, and even schmeared into a sandwich.
Remember, I do not measure when I cook, I play by eye and taste. This is the amount I would make for a dinner party, so taste and adjust to your liking.
Important, for best creamy results, use a blender or bullet.
You will need:
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 cup of Greek yogurt
- Handful of cilantro
- 3 limes
- 2 roasted or raw garlic cloves
- 1 roasted green onion
- 1 roasted spicy green pepper (remove the seeds if you can't handle a lot of spice)
- Dash of soy sauce
- Drizzle of honey
After roasting the vegetables, add everything to a blender. If it needs more liquid to become creamy, keep adding lemon juice or apple cider vinegar.
